fresh copy...

elias had the chore to send a fax at fresh copy..... (this is the last shop copying and faxing in JP)

so we headed out into a wonderful autumn afternoon. naomi on her bicycle and we on foot. of course naomi had to show off her new horn! a very loud elephant head!!! she got it from her godmother in switzerland and of course it had to be mounted right away. no one even dares to come into close proximity of this biker girl.

an autumn day

a good day has gone by, violin lessons, play time with a friend, thank you i for coming over to play seek and hide with us, it was fun!
some schoolwork got done before lunch, wow and then after lunch once more math especially for elias...
the sun was out so we had to go outside and enjoy it! naomi on her bicycle, elias with the push cart for the csa and amos enjoyed the walk talking with me. i'm definitely getting slower by the day.... yes a few more days, maybe a couple of weeks? who knows when the baby decides to join our household in person! we are all looking forward, there still have to be a few things done until i feel totally ready.
- the swing mounted in the kitchen
- the basket put on my bedside
- the little cloths sorted and put in order
- the name settled...
- the quilt still needs some quilting and casing to be done
- maybe lot's of other things but my legs feel tired so i'm done for today...

atc

this month's cmp atc was "a song"...
i liked the theme, it is chiming in so well with my life as the wife of a whistler. joel's flute as well as the whistles are being used a lot and the irish trad has become so much part of our every day life over the past two years.
it is a very pleasant time when joel put's our daughter to bed and keeps her company with the flute until she falls asleep or much longer....

geschenke

joel und die kinder sind am sonntag abend auch nach hause gekommen und haben mir noch ein geschenk von meiner ma mitgebracht....
die schoen verarbeiteten topflappen haben mich sehr gefreut ist es doch ein alltagsgegenstand den ich taeglich brenutze, die stilisierten kuehe gewinnen mir jedesmal ein lacher ab.
die kurzen, warmen stulpen kommen zur rechten zeit an bei mir, der herbst hat sich bis jetzt von seiner warmen seite gezeigt, doch das wird sich in kuerze aendern. mit den hohen oelpreisen werden wir auch dieses jahr das haus nur grad auf 17 grad celsius heizen und drum sind warme stulpen ein willkommenes kleidungsstueck. danke ma!

# 22 ferien ade

wir hatten eine richtig gute und erholsame ferienzeit in der schweiz mit unseren familien und freunden. nun gilt es den alltag wieder so ganz umarmen und die herausforderung taeglich neu zu erfassen. danke all denen mit denen wir zusammen waren und die uns ihre zeit schenkten. kommt doch und besucht uns auf eine tasse tee oder glas wein, uebernachtung inbegriffen...

lost

i'm home again. it feels good and i really enjoy the silence around me, but i feel a bit lost without my camera...
never the less, the sun is shining, the sky is blue, for lunch i headed out to city feed and supply and slurped a tomato-basil soup, mmmmmhhhhh it was so good.
i guess it was God's providence for me, to fly home a few days before the kids and joel head home too. taking time, taking the stillness of life to just enjoy and be.
sipping a cup of raspberry-leaf tea and sitting down in the chair, close to the window, the one which lets me sit in a radiant autumn sunbeam.
thank you life! full of expectations of new life to be added into our family.

# 14 unter den baeumen

wir haben die stunden mit meinem bruder und seiner familie draussen bei den apfelbaeumen so richtig genossen. elias kletterte und schuettelte die baeume, dass die aepfel runter kamen. die drei maedchen genossen den blaetterregen und konnten kaum genug davon kriegen. im nahen wald wurden fuchsbauten durchsucht und die kinder freuten sich ab den knochenfunden... danke d und j fuer den zmittag vom feuer und dass wir teilhaben duerfen an eurem leben.

# 13 thurgau im oktober

auf der fahrt durch den thurgau haben wir die oktoberlandschaft so richtig genossen. eine solch wunderbare farbenpracht koennte nicht mal vom "indian summer" in unserer heimat uebertrumpft werden!
