life inside

just this week i took the potted plants indoors, it was a long mild autumn and we all enjoyed it, plants as well as people. there are still some more pots out of doors, i do have to remember to take them in, though they would be fine taking a bit of a frosty night. we have not had one of those cold spills yet (except on our autumn vacation in the mountains....), but they will come soon i'm sure.

naomi has been growing aloe plants, it's a fun little passion, she has grown attached to her baby plants. thank you to our friend f, getting her started with a couple very little baby plants from her big mama plant. for those plants, the window sill is perfect and they stay right where they ever have been put. no changing of their home, which is fine and i absolutely don't mind, as the indoors have been now become much more then just sleeping grounds. we spend a lot of time indoors at this time of year, naomi loves her room and i'm glad that there are her living "friends" with her.

being in of doors brings more candle light to the every day doings. we have a nice stash of beautifully hand made once by now. and i'm sure there will be more coming by the end of this month. just around the corner at the community center, volunteers run a candle dipping workshop for one week every november (16.-23. of november 2011) we all love to go and will make some new lights for our self's as well as friends this year too.
