i know i totally got over board with my little frittilaria's. i have to say though, i absolutely am in love with them, not one moment in the kitchen without a quick or even a longish glance over to the window sill above the sink, where the beauties are placed.
i got them last friday at the market in town. first i was getting one for my mom, but as soon as i got them in my hand, i had to buy a second little pot for myself. they are just so perfect.
and if all goes well, i will be able to put the bulbs into the soil in my garden and will have them again next spring. let's hope!
