my sparrow is wound and ready to be cast on....
it has been sitting and waiting for over a year, though it does not mind and finally i found a fun pattern to knit. it's something for me, which has been a while, since i was knitting for my self. the liesl looks like a simple knit with a few details i do absolutely like. the pockets are one of them. i got the size 3 knitting needles to my wooden needle set and will be casting on as soon as i find a few moments to do the counting and measuring and a wee bit of math so it will not end up on one of my kids dollies.
