so there has been
this book on my desk, for a while now. i love it, the design of it's self as well as the patterns and ideas for sewing projects. and last tuesday i embraced the jumper project. it was the first time i had to draw my own pattern. of course there are instructions, though they didn't come so clear across to me. so it was a bit of challenge to get started with it all. and it helped me, to take an existing jumper to look at, just to make sure i was not totally off. cutting the fabric is fun every time i do it, i like the kick i get by cutting into a nice big yardage of fine cotton.
and here it is, the one week jumper and it is super comfortable to wear. though i have already to answer the question of "are you pregnant" no, i'm not it's just a jumper and i love to wear it as i feel free in it and with the warmer temperatures coming, i'm certain, i will love it even more.
and then just last saturday i had a certain urge to bring the garden into the house...
a wonderful sage garden i have no on the living room table.
