spring green

it has been a real spring day, rainy and stormy in the morning. as i started out for a run it was not cold, but the wind and the big raindrops made it worth wearing long sleeves and gloves. halve an hour into running, the sun was almost pushing through and upon arriving back home, i was sweating and hot and the sun was shining bright and warm. we usually call this "april wetter", though we just write march, i guess it's technically still winter, but lets just pretend it's spring.

that's how i feel when i peak into the garden boxes, some yellow some tender "rumex sanguineus", we harvested a lot last fall and it seems like we will again this year. o that is a happy sign of new life.
