train ride::enjoy relax

elias and i took a 2h train ride to visit friends over the weekend. it was a first for the two of us to spend the weekend without any other family members. yes, even thea stayed with joel. i was very hesitant first, but realized that she usually doesn't feel like she needs to nurse if i'm not around. and she did well, until we came back on sunday evening....
i pumped twice and yes missed thea, but that was to be expected and didn't surprise me at all. it was good and i'm sure we will do it again in the future.

riding trains in switzerland is really nice and so smooth. they are on time, within 30 seconds of schedule and even when we had to catch a connection within 10 minutes of arrival we sat in the next train and left on time. i did realize that the train stations as well as the trains are packed, lot's more people ride the trains in comparison to 13 years ago. it did feel sometimes a bit too busy for me, but we found seats together and even at a window.


the stay at our friends was so relaxing, it could not have been more quiet and i really enjoyed the still two days. thank you a & p for having us at your house and taking the time.
we are back now and friends from america arrived today...
