kids clothes week::naomi's PJ's &...

it was kids clothes week sept. 20-27th and i was sewing at least 1h a day for my and other peoples kids.
first i got the PJ's for naomi done, she loves them and i too. the second project was a set of baby kimonos, a lovely quick project.



it is wonderful to sew flannel, this was the first time i did, and i will do again. here the preparations for the PJ



the pattern for the kimono is also taken form "weekend sewing" and the fabrics i took out of my stash. i particularly love the the frogs in the jar, o that one is so sweet!
those two kimonos are already packed up and in the mail to arrive at friends houses. it is warming my heart, knowing that new babies are joining their families and being loved and cuddled.
there will be more of those kimonos being made within the next few weeks...
