meeting friends in the city

isn't it great seeing friends in the middle of the week, just so...
of course thea and i were thrilled, when a few weeks back our friend c sent an email to tell us, that she will be in town with her kids. of course we arrange a quick lunch, in order for us to spend as much time as possible with them. and finally with much anticipation we met them at the train station this morning. the weather was not too friendly, so we went for some drinks first, tea and of course a class of syrup with a straw, walked around town, just as all the venders were packing up their produce and flowers. stopped at the toy store, enjoyed the weather vans a long fun time and we even made it to the library together.
the weather got much better, the sun came back in the afternoon. and we ventured out once more, on our own this time. we had to stop and stand in awe of those wonderful blossoms. the fresh green leafs are out and brighten  up more and more bushes. it's lovely, it's so exciting to see this miracle of spring happen.

der Abend blüht hinzu, und helle Tage gehen vom Himmel abwärts, wo die Tag entstehen.

Das Jahr erscheint mit seinen Zeiten wie eine Pracht, wo sich Feste verbreiten,
der Menschen Tätigkeit beginnt mit neuem Ziele, so sind die Zeichen in der Welt, der Wunder viele.
