on the tower

we were away for the weekend. the whole big family of joel's side gathered and enjoyed the time together. it was good to have the time together, fun to explore the nature and animal park at goldau
so much fun exploring with the kids, especially the younger ones... but our teenager seem to enjoy it too. a time of many interactions. be it jokingly laugh about what ever or some deep sharing.
climbing the wooden tower and enjoying the view toward lake zug. as well as just down, close by the family members already gone up and back down...

the only draw back, i broke my glasses. the frame is all broken appart, as nicely as wood is splintering under pressure. and now i know how it feels not to be able to read or knit (as i would have needed to read the pattern), to sing songs which i have not memorized...
i take it as a lesson to memorize and grow in empathy. well today i went to the optometrist and be ready for that one, leave my frames there for 3 weeks, as they have to send it to the maker for glueing!

this led to the decision, to get a spare set of glasses (not one with varivocal glasses, as that would be way too expensive) just a good, personalized pair of reading glasses. they promised to have them ready in 2-3 days, ready to take on my vacation next week.
