lots of flowers

we spent the long weekend over pentecost at my parents house. of course spoiled with good food, lots of laughter and much of the time out side the house. enjoying the garden and getting some chores done. but best of all the quiet of a little town out in the country side of switzerland...


i was amazed at my mom's flower arrangement on the living room table. golden sage, light pink bush roses and a smaller variety which of course are from their garden (and my sister in law's garden at the farm)


there were strawberries to be found and of course our berry lover found each red berry carefully taken from the plant and eaten


stomping through the thicket of tall grass has been much fun and also fun to watch...


my parents house is built on a hill side, lots of sandstone boulders and of course between those boulders are many types of "hen and chicks". of course elias had to get a few chicks...


of course the big kids were climbing and having fun with the water and all this surrounded by blooming roses, peonies, daisies, and all kinds of summer floor.
