a wednesday afternoon

it was amos' idea and he started to gut the wooden pieces for a rope ladder. for a few days now the wood was ready cut and holes drilled for the rope to be threaded through. wednesday was hardly coming fast enough as he planned to go and buy rope with joel.

now here we are an afternoon of working together. riding the bikes to the store for rope, cutting little wood pieces to fix the rope under each step and mounting the ladder on our chestnut tree.


the tree is now one more place to have adventures and of course spots to relax


of course the littlest climber of the clan had to try it too
